The amazingly creative folks at Teachable Moment offered us 2 stories and felt board for review. You can bet A and D were both THRILLED with this review:) We chose two of our favorite stories...A picked The old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly and D picked Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

First up, A's choice: This set comes with an Old Lady, fly, spider, bird, cat, dog, goat, cow, horse, and a song card. A happens to think this story is absolutely hilarious when we're just singing it and adding images to it made it even funnier:) She loved making the Old Woman swallow each thing and then acting out the "chase" scenes inside her tummy. Too much fun!

D's choice: I must start with a little background...D is our youngest, 21 months, and a little different from his older sister in that when he decides to like a book he goes all out and only wants to hear that book over and over and over again for weeks. I could put the book anywhere on his massive bookshelf and he would find it. So was the story with Brown Bear, Brown Bear a few months ago, until, out of sheer desperation, I hid the book under the couch and Voila! Out of sight out of mind:) Out of mommy guilt, I let him choose the Brown Bear, Brown Bear felt story:) This set comes with a cat, dog, frog, bird, horse, sheep, duck, bear, fish, children, and adult. The story was not included, but that of course is no problem as I am sure every member of our family and probably our cul-de-sac knows the story by heart:) D LOVES it!!

I was very impressed with the quality and detail of the felt pieces. You can tell the creator really knows and loves what she is doing. The pieces were definitely put to the "toddler test" and passed with flying colors! The board is super cool too. I love the convenience of this set. We took it to the doctor's office the other day and the kid's weren't restless at all!!
