Lindsay Olive Wreath Review and Giveaway...

Thanks to Lindsay Olives, we recently had the chance to review a beautifully crafted live holiday wreath:

About the Holiday Wreath:
"Give the Gift That’s ‘Green’ and Gives Back - Help Feed the Hungry This Holiday Season with
Handmade Olive Branch Holiday Wreaths

Save $5 on pre-orders October 1-15

Holiday shoppers looking for one-of-a-kind gifts that are ‘green,’ ‘give back,’ and fit tight budgets will find the perfect solution at http://www.lindsayolives.com/. Lindsay Olives is offering fragrant, beautiful wreaths whose purchase helps eliminate hunger through their partnership with Meals on Wheels Association of America (MOWAA). Lindsay Olives offers compassion-minded shoppers two sizes of gorgeous wreaths – handmade with fresh olive, bay and eucalyptus branches. The wreaths make wonderful holiday décor, whether hanging as a sweet-smelling front door welcome or gracing a table as a natural centerpiece.

Proceeds from the wreath sales go to MOWAA, the oldest and largest national organization in the country composed of and representing local, community-based Senior Nutrition Programs.

The gift-ready wreaths are available in two sizes. The lovely 12-inch round wreath is just $30; the larger 16-inch wreath is only $35. Orders placed from October 1- 15, no matter the shipping date, will receive a $5 discount. The wreaths are handmade to order from freshly harvested California olive branches, along with branches from bay and eucalyptus trees.

Simple handmade gifts that are beautiful and benefit hard-working charities such as MOWAA are more relevant and appreciated than ever before. The smaller wreath is perfect as table décor for both special and everyday gatherings, and is especially beautiful when paired with a glowing holiday globe or festive arrangement of votive candles, seasonal fruits and nuts. The larger wreath is a delightful front door welcome during the holiday season.

The branches are harvested from California groves and, over time, dry to a beautiful silvery green. Fragrant bay and eucalyptus branches add that special holiday aroma. Each wreath is packaged gift-ready in holiday red tissue paper with a personalized gift card and care instructions.

The Lindsay Olive holiday wreaths are available exclusively at http://www.lindsayolives.com/ or by calling (800) 765-2029 .

“Hunger is particularly painful during the holidays – even one hungry person is one too many. Our partnership with The Meals On Wheels Association of America is a simple way for holiday shoppers to give natural, meaningful gifts and help fill empty stomachs,” said Robin Robinson, vice president of marketing, Lindsay Olives. “Our wreaths make it possible for gift givers to continue to support this vital program.”

The olive tree is one of the oldest trees on Earth. Archives of ancient civilizations dating back thousands of years refer to the olive branch as a symbol of peace and goodwill.

About Meals on Wheels Association of America:
The Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA) is the oldest and largest national organization in the United States representing those programs that provide meals to people in need. MOWAA’s mission is to end senior hunger by 2020. To obtain more information about MOWAA or to locate a local Meals On Wheels program, visit the MOWAA website at http://www.mowaa.org/.

About Lindsay Olives:
Lindsay Olives provides a full line of olives, ranging from the delicious, savory California black ripe olives to more exotic imported varieties, like stuffed Spanish Queens and Greek Kalamatas. For wonderful recipes and serving suggestions, please visit http://www.lindsayolives.com/. Join us on Facebook!

Lindsay Olives’ parent company Bell-Carter Foods, Inc. was established in 1912 in Berkeley, CA, and now produces more than 10 million cases of olives annually, making it the largest U.S. table olive processor. Always family owned, the company is headquartered in Lafayette, CA and processes olives in Corning, CA."

What we thought: This arrangement of fresh leaves was very beautiful and fragrant. The wreath is easy to dress up for your festivities, but is simply gorgeous undecorated as well. We have had ours for 5 days now and the leaves are just beginning to curl at the tips which is pretty good for a live decoration. These festive wreaths would be great for holiday entertaining and decoration and the proceeds go to a great cause:) ABCD Diaries gives Lindsay Olives holiday wreaths an A!
