On December 1 Pentel launched the promotion "Heroes Worth Writing For" where they are asking children and adults to write a letter to our troops. Our troops sacrifice a lot for our country and we all know they would like to hear from folks in their own handwriting how appreciated they are. The contest runs through Jan. 31. Those who enter the contest will send their handwritten letter to Pentel and they will ensure that they are given to our troops overseas through Operation Gratitude. Before they send them, however, they’ll pick out five winners, a Grand Prize winner and four second-prize winners. Up for grabs are hundreds of dollars in cash prizes and Pentel products!! The website for the contest and rules is: http://www.pentel.com/national_handwriting_day/ . You can also check out the Pentel blog for more information: http://pentelblog.com/

Sign Pen 5 Pack Pouch"The original fiber tipped pen...and still a best seller. Vivid, water-based ink writes expressive, bold lines. Perfect for general writing, drawing and adding character to any signature. Stationary tip and fixed sleeve."
What we thought: We reviewed 2 types of the EnerGel pen and a pack of Sign Pens. The EnerGel pens were awesome! Writing with them was smooth and seamless. The ink is fast drying so no smearing and the pens are just great! The Sign Pens come in a variety of colors and are very bold, but don't bleed through. They are like markers, but have a nice fine tip and we really loved the way they brightened up our writing:) I am a constant list writer and these pens have all been thoroughly used for the last 3 weeks and still work wonderfully! ABCD Diaries gives Pentel products an A+! Don't forget to write your letter to the troops and enter the contest to win hundreds of dollars in cash and Pentel products!!
