Chillout Fan Review and Giveaway...

We recently had the chance to review a compact Chillout Fan.

What we thought:  So here is the scoop... 
When we moved to the Texas coast in April, we moved into a super old house with not a lot of insulation and window units.  This is a 2000 sqft house with only one unit downstairs.  We added a second unit, but it still gets pretty warm.  We can open the upstairs windows and get a pretty good breeze from the bay 2 blocks down, but too many things block the breeze downstairs.  We were super excited to get to review the Chillout fan.  It is so small, so we weren't really expecting a huge difference in temperature.  We were definitely surprised when B plugged it in and I could feel the cool air immediately on the other side of the room!  This fan has been a true blessing these last few weeks.  The temperatures have been really high this summer and the downstairs window unit has been running pretty constantly, but when we starting using the Chillout fan I noticed the unit would kick off quite a bit, so I know the fan is saving us on the electric bill.  Another huge benefit of the Chillout is that is is so compact...even the kiddos can move it from room to room.  If it is getting hot in the kitchen while we're cooking we just plug it in in there.  If we are playing board games at the dining room table, we just move the fan.  We generally keep it in the room where most of the people are and it keeps the temperature quite comfortable.  And it is so quiet, you wouldn't even know it was there except for the fantastic cool breeze:)  Definitely a great portable and affordable fan!  ABCD Diaries gives the Chillout fan an A+!
