"Hanukkah Howie" Review...

"Have you ever had a bad hair day? Well imagine eight bad-hair-days in a row and at just the wrong time. That s what happened to baby Howie as his mother Hannah was planning on showing her new baby boy off at parties during the winter holidays. The Story of Hanukkah Howie was written with delightfully playful words and rhyme by Jan Dalrymple and equally fun, colorful illustrations by Bob Dalrymple. The message for all readers and listeners from 4 to 94 is that through acceptance of the differences within ourselves and others, we can find comfort, happiness and hope."

What we thought: This was a really cute book that teaches little ones lessons of diversity and acceptance.  Even if you don't observe Hanukkah, this is a fun book and teaches a great lesson.  Hanukkah Howie would make a great addition to your holiday book collection.  ABCD Diaries gives Hanukkah Howie an A!
