BYOU Magazine Subscription #Review #Giveaway

  We recently had the chance to review BYOU Magazine:

What we thought:  
This is a fantastic magazine for girls ages 7-15.  I love this magazine because it helps build self-esteem and focuses on positive role models.  A has been wanting a magazine subscription, but everything for young girls seems to focus on celebrities and fashion that are a little too risque or topics that are gossipy, negative or just too adult for my almost 8 year old. 

 I was thrilled to find a magazine that focuses on stories about real girls, how to make a positive difference and community service while also featuring fun games, crafts, advice and jokes.  

I asked A what she thought about the magazine (though I'd witnessed her reading it from cover to cover several times over:) and she said she LOVED it!  She said her favorite part was the advice column because it told her other girls had the same problems as her and they gave her good ideas on how to solve them.  Profound, right?  A magazine that let's my little girl realize that she's not alone with her problems?  I couldn't ask for more:)  She also gushed about the craft idea and the contests.  She is super excited to receive her next issue!  

The only drawback of this magazine, in my opinion, is that it's only published 6 times a year...Good thing A doesn't mind re-reading them:)  If you have a girl in your life between the ages of 7 and 15, both A and I would highly recommend this magazine!
