We were recently given the chance to review a selection of CLR products:

What we thought: We were very impressed with our CLR products, especially the Original CLR Calcium, Lime and Rust Remover. We have hard water and it builds up residue really quickly. Here is a picture of our showerhead before we used CLR:
Lots of buildup! We soaked the showerhead in CLR for just 2 minutes :
And voila! Nearly all of the residue disappeared with virtually no scrubbing! Pretty cool, right?!
We will definitely be using CLR regularly to keep the residue buildup at bay. The Mold & Mildew Stain Remover is also great for where we live. The Texas coast is pretty humid and warm and mildew can take over in a matter of days on anything damp. What a great product to have on hand with the spring and summer months approaching! Our overall opinion of CLR products is that they are AWESOME! ABCD Diaries gives CLR products an A+!

ReplyDeleteI DO have a bit of hard water. Not too bad, but I DO need a product like CLR for sure. My one wish is they make a THICK formula. LOVE a de-liming product that clings to fixtures.

ReplyDeleteWe don't have water that is really hard, but we are fighting a constant battle against mold/mildew. It gets very humid here in NY, and the bathroom has no exhaust fan.

ReplyDeleteHard water and calcium deposits are a big problem in desert water. If I sprinkle my plants indoors or outdoors, there is a white coating left behind. It is on the dishes and everything else as well.

ReplyDeleteOh boy...I really have issues with hard water. It builds up around the faucets and I have actually had to change my hot water heater 2 times in 8 years...plumber said it was hard water deposits.

I have mildew issues in various places in my home.
ReplyDeleteThe caulk in my bathroom seems to collect mold every few months, regardless of what I use to keep it clean.
