We recently had the opportunity to review a selection of Vacu Vin products for the kitchen:
First up was the Snap-on Wine Thermometer:
This nifty gadget is really helpful for chilling white wine to the proper temperature. It's amazing how much better wine can taste when it is properly chilled. This thermometer is super easy to use and quickly tells you whether you wine is ready to serve or if it needs to chill or rest before serving. The nifty guide on the back tells you exactly what temperature each kind of wine needs to be. At a price tag of only $9.95 it is a must-have wine tool for entertaining!
Next was the Wine Pump Set:
Another super affordable wine tool! At only $10.95, this gadget is perfect for keeping wine fresh for up to 14 days! It's also super easy to use. We don't often have left over wine, but this would be a great tool for someone who uses wine for cooking or doesn't finish finish a bottle in one setting.
Finally, my favorite Vacu Vin product, the Instant Marinator:
This tool is a little pricier at $39.95, but in my opinion, definitely worth it! I have used this fabulous dish 3 times in the last week and it has provided amazing results every time! It, like the other Vacu Vin products, is a breeze to use. It makes marinating meats and veggies a snap! All you do is put your meat/veggies into the dish with your marinade and pump a few times to seal the lid and remove the air. It takes only a few minutes to marinate you favorite foods by creating a vacuum that opens the pores and fibers in your food and allow the marinade to penetrate quickly. It does in minutes what usually takes me hours to do the "old-fashioned" marinade way:) I don't know that I will ever marinate for hours again, it is that good! It was big enough for 3-4 lamb chops or 3 swordfish steaks or 3 large chicken breasts in my cooking endeavors last week:) Another fantastic product for entertaining this spring and summer!
ABCD Dairies gives Vacu Vin products an A+!

ReplyDeleteIf you’re in doubt of any unpleasant growth in your house, you should simply assume there is a problem whenever you see mold or smell mold odors. Testing should never take the place of visual inspection (which is recommended) and it should never use up resources that are needed to correct moisture problems and remove visible growth.
ReplyDeletePeople used to think that molds were harmless but it isn’t. The fact is, some molds produce a toxin called aflatoxin (toxic and among the most carcinogenic substances known) that causes illness and death in people.
Sometimes, mold growth is hidden and difficult or hard to locate and find. In such cases, carefully conducted sampling and visual inspection may help determine the location of contamination. However, mold testing is rarely useful for trying to answer questions or inquiries about health concerns. For more information, see mold testing services
