  1. We recycle.
We bring plastic bags back to the stores.
We use bags that we bring to the grocery.

  2. I make bags out of t-shirts. They are sturdy and can fit a lot of stuff if necessary, but can take up a tiny bit of room in a purse or in the car.

There are other things, of course, but I love doing this for everyone.

  3. We recycle and use reusable shopping bags everywhere, not just the grocery store.

  4. We celebrate Earth Day by planting part of our garden with the kids. We explain the importance of taking care of our Earth, being self-sustained, and even taking care of things such as water!

  5. Sorting and recycling is mainstay here. We repurpose or gift things that are still useful that we no longer need. We use very little water and keep the lawn tall enough so it shades the roots and saves waters (while keeping many weeds at bay). These are only a FEW things we do. :D

  6. I save plastic bags/jugs for recycling. Participate in free cycling where you keep things from going to trash by giving away free to other people.

  7. We cloth diaper, use cloth in our kitchen (instead of paper towels), and recycle.

  8. We have switched to a lot of reusable items as well as more earth friendly and less chemical cleaning products. We also are growing an organic garden and try to repurpose what we can and recycle what can't be.

  9. We eat as organic as possible and try to be thoughtful in what we wear, buy, eat, and do.
