We recently had the chance to review the 6 Qt. Stainless Steel Roaster from NESCO:

NESCO makes roasters, dehydrators, slicers, grinders and more kitchen appliances.  They are a trusted name in the small appliance community and have been around since the 1930s.

The coolest thing about the roaster we reviewed was it's versatility.  It can be used not only a roaster, but also to bake, cook, steam and slow cook so many foods!  We used it to make our monthly pot of slow cooker refried beans and it worked wonderfully!

This roaster has a cool, non-stick cook well that is removable and makes it so easy to clean.  The well is large enough for a whole chicken, roast or small turkey.  Our bean recipe calls for 2 lbs pintos and 10 cups of water (and a few other ingredients) and the NESCO roaster still had a bit of room to spare.  This roaster also includes a chrome rack for better baking and fat-free roasting.  The temperature range is 175-425 degrees and using this roaster doesn't heat up the entire kitchen like our oven does...definitely a great feature in our Texas heat!  I have been really pleased with this roaster and can't wait to use it all summer long!
