It's been about a month now since we installed our new Franke Luxury USA Kitchen System. In today's post we are going to go through each piece, talk about their features and share how each piece is working in our day-to-day use.
First up, the sink itself:
We also reviewed a couple of accessories...the wire rack and the cutting board.
The wire rack is great for keeping the bottom of the gorgeous sink smooth and scratch-free. It keeps everything up off the bottom of the sink which will keep the sink looking great for years to come. Seriously, all sinks should have these!
The cutting board fits perfectly over the sink which makes meal prep so easy! You can set up your veggie washing/cutting station right there and once you're done the mess goes right in the sink. Easy peasy! When not in use, you can keep it over the sink because it sure does look pretty. It's slim design also makes it easy to store if you'd rather not leave it over the sink. We tend to use all of the space in our sin pretty regularly, so we slide our cutting board under the cabinet when not in use.
Next, let's look at the faucets. We have both a main faucet and a point of use faucet:
The main faucet is the FF2460R in Old World Bronze. This faucet features a pull down sprayer and single handle. I love that I can pull down the sprayer and use it reach even the farthest corners of the sink. The single lever makes finding the right water temperature and flow easy enough for even the kiddos. We love the smooth, sleek design and the Old World Bronze color really complements the Linen color of the sink.
The point of use faucet is DW5060 plus filter canister and this faucet is also in Old World Bronze. This faucet provides cool, filtered water at the touch of a lever. The kiddos especially love this feature:) Our tap water isn't of the highest quality down here, so having the filter on this point of use faucet is really nice.
Then there's the fabulous garbage disposal:
As I mentioned in the last post, this garbage disposal features superior sound baffling and runs pretty quietly. It has made quick work of everything I've thrown it's way. We are definitely pleased with it's functionality.

This sink is the Farm House Fireclay sink in the color Linen. It is a big single bowl sink. It measures about 33in by 20in. When we first pulled it out of the box, B asked how I would be able to do dishes in a sink that big. I told him it would just make doing dishes a lot easier because a whole day's dishes could fit in the sink at the same time:) It is working wonderfully. At Thanksgiving, the guys were on dishes duty. They could actually fit two at a time at the sink to wash dishes together and got the job done in no time!
