My kiddos listened to me read the lesson, but decided to do their own thing. They really enjoyed using the different panels...a step up from construction paper for sure:) It made them feel that their artwork was more permanent.
They also really loved the selection of brushes. This particular assortment was great for explaining to them how to use different brushes for different effects. Here are their finished pieces (top, 6 year old D and bottom 8 year old A):
D had a blast creating the Box Wrap. This month, the wrap transformed the box into a beautiful fish:
