@LEGOKidsFest comes to Austin Sept 4-6! A Review in Pictures:)

**Complimentary tickets received in exchange for our honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

LEGO KidsFest brings all of the creative hands-on, minds-on fun of LEGO building and experiences together in one activity- and entertainment-packed family event for children of all ages and builders of all skills and interests.

We attended the festival in Austin on Friday and below are just a few of the fun things we found.

The kiddos loved walking among the LEGO models of all kinds. Some of their favorites included these guys:

The Big Brick Pile was the biggest pile of LEGO bricks we've EVER seen!

The DK Reading Rest Stop was a great place to catch our breath and check out some cool LEGO books:

In the Construction Zone, the kiddos got to build and display their masterpieces:

There was a super fun section called Race Ramps where you could build and race your own creations:

A especially loved visiting the Friends in Heartlake City, where she got to build with themed bricks:

D was more interested in building a Bionicle creation:

The Star Wars section was a HUGE hit and we even got to build and display a cool masterpiece here as well :

D teamed up with some other kiddos to compete in the Brick Battle Zone to create a bridge that could hold 15 pounds:

He also got to battle B in the Ninjago area:

A especially loved the creative new art supplies she found in the Santoki section...they connect just like LEGOS!

Another favorite was building a LEGO tile to display in the Art Gallery:

The Jurassic World exhibit was super cool:

D found the shooting range in LEGO City to be quite a blast:

One of D's favorite sections was the Mindstorm robotics area:

The kiddos also really enjoyed the rest of the fest including sections for Disney Princess, Super Heroes, Technic, and Mixels.  There was also a LEGO store, the huge Creation Nation Map and the Master Builder Lab, which A loved!  There was so much to do at this festival, something for every single family member!  If this festival is coming to your area, I would highly recommend checking it out!!
