3D Maker by Tech 4 Kids:
With 3D Maker, kids can turn gel designs into 3D creations! Trace your designs on a template and insert it into the Maker. The gel becomes solid after enclosed exposure to LED light. Kids can connect finished pieces together to build multi-dimensional structures. The 3D Maker is unlike any other maker system, using light instead of heat for kid-safe play. The gel is available in multiple colors and the 3D Maker comes with an assortment of boy/girl templates including; Princess, Under The Sea, Construction and more.
Our kit came with the 3D Magic Maker Main Unit, 3 gels: orange, red and green, 3 molds: fish, turtle, dog and 3 stencils: bridge, fighter jet and car. The directions were simple and the kiddos had their first creations within just minutes. With the amount of gel the kit provided they were able to make a 3D turtle and fish and a 3D bridge and fighter jet. They may have been a little heavy handed with the gel on their first creation (the fish) so they ran out of gel before they could try all of the molds. I'm sure you can purchase refills and more stencils and molds so that you can extend the life of you 3D Magic Maker:) The 3D Magic Maker is battery-operated and safe for kiddos 6 and up. Both of my crafty kiddos give it 2 thumbs up!
