Valentine's Day Gift Idea: "Giftable" Books from Ulysses Press!

**Complimentary products received in exchange for our honest review.  All opinions are ours and ours alone**

Ulysses Press offers a large selection of fun and helpful books that will keep you reading, learning and entertained all year long.  We got to check out several great reads from Ulysses Press and will be posting about them throughout the week.

Two of our new favorite books from Ulysses Press would make great gift ideas this Valentine's Day, 101 Fun Personality Quizzes and Good for One Mediocre Shoulder Rub.

101 Fun Personality Quizzes, by Kourtney Jason, offers pop culture-themed quizzes for a quirky, fun way to better understand one’s personality.

About the book:
Who is your celebrity soul mate? What city should you live in? How big a drama queen are you? The answers to these questions and more are all revealed in 101 Fun Personality Quizzes It isn’t exactly Myers Briggs, but it is the ultimate personality, pop-culture, and lifestyle quiz book that’s sure to uncover secrets, reveal truths, and keep readers enthralled question after question. After answering a series of insightful questions, readers will finally know if they are more Elle Woods, “Shop Girl,” or Bridget Jones. More shy, flirty, or seductive. More Beyonce, Lady Gaga, or Taylor Swift. With over 100 quizzes in a variety of formats, quiz takers will explore love, desire and countless new revelations about themselves and their friends. One of the most popular ways to pass the time, these fun and flirty surveys are sure to be a hit with quiz addicts and pop culture connoisseurs of any age.

ARV $14.95 and worth every penny!  We loved this quiz book!  These are the multiple choice quizzes where your final destination depends upon how many of each letter you choose throughout the quiz.  Many of these were fun to do with the kiddos, like What Dinosaur Are You? and What Fast Food Chain Are You?, while others cater more to adults either because of the theme or because of the time period the questions come from like Which Celebrity Scandal Would You Have? and Which '90s TV Character Are You?  There are also several fun flow-chart-esque quizzes to determine things like What Candy Are You? and Are You Ambitious?

Hours of fun I tell ya!

Next up, Good for One Mediocre Shoulder Rub:  Considerate Coupons for Couples, by Meera Lee Patel, is a witty collection of "romantic" coupons to crack up committed couples.

About the book:
All relationships must, at some point, make the transition from rose-colored swoon-fest to real-life partnership. But with this hilarious coupon book, practicality doesn’t mean saying goodbye to big laughs and tender gestures.

Forget long-stem roses and fancy chocolates. Sometimes the most romantic thing an individual can do for a partner is something as unsexy as washing the dishes on a Wednesday night. Running the gambit from sweet and unique (“Five free spots at the top of the Netflix queue”) to realistically hilarious (“Redeem this card for thirty seconds of my undivided attention”), Good for One Mediocre Shoulder Rub is a charming, funny, and original collection of real-life love coupons for committed couples to say “I love you so much that I’ll walk the dog without complaining.” Every tear-out coupon is lovingly hand-illustrated, making each coupon a unique gift in itself.
ARV $7.95

This cute little book is laugh-out-loud funny!  It would make a fun gift for couples who have been together a while and will actually see the value of these terrific coupons!  I mean, what says true love more than a coupon for one evening of complete control of the remote? :)

Stay tuned for more posts this week that include great gift ideas from Ulysses Press for the artsy Valentine and the food-loving Valentine:)
