Sarah Janisse Brown, a mom of ten picky eaters, chose each of these meals and snacks because they are fun to eat, fun to prepare and packed with the essential nutrients for optimum brain function, vitality, beauty, physical endurance, memory, and energy. What a wonderful book. but the REAL REASON Sarah created this book was to inspire picky children to spark an interest in trying new things.
Foods for Moms:
Many of these rich foods help to keep Super Mom's hormones balanced, her energy constant and include just the right balance of wholesome proteins, natural carbs and brain boosting fats!
Creativity in the Kitchen:
This book will inspire you to make beautiful colorful meals and snacks for your family. Many of these delightful foods will help picky eaters to want to venture into the kitchen to be part of the food making fun. When children help prepare a meal, they are more likely to try something new.
This is also a fun book to look at with your children. Sarah plays a game with her picky eaters called "What do you like best?" Learn More: What to Do When SUPER MOM has a Picky Child that will not try new foods... THE GAME: What Do You Like Best?
How to Play:
Open the book to the first page that has two pictures of food. Ask your child to look at the two pictures and mom says: "What do you like best? the Apples or the Apple Juice?" Turn the Page: "What do you like best - the Pizza or the Salad?" Turn the pages again and again, and inspire conversations with your picky eater about the wonderful food in the pictures.
Since the child is choosing to "Like" one of the pictures "best" they will be open to actually preparing and eating the food in the pictures!
What a great idea! This book features lovely food photography and is sure to get your creative juices flowing:)
