So, I've owned a pressure cooker for years now, but it's old school...all metal and noise and shakiness. Quite frankly, I'm terrified to use it. B has used it a few times (he says it's completely safe, but then, he's a lot braver than I am) I love the idea that pretty much anything can be cooked in a fraction of the time, but just not crazy about a pressure cooker exploding in my kitchen. (I admit, I am a wee bit dramatic about these things😊) I have been watching the pressure cooker craze that's been happening for a while now...all these amazing recipes on Pinterest and whatnot...and thought the electric pressure cooker didn't seem nearly as intimidating as my old death trap. I was super excited when GoWISE USA offered my the chance to review one of these AMAZING kitchen tools!
I got to try out the super sleek, super awesome, super capable 4th-Generation Electric Pressure Cooker:
The GoWISE USA 14 Quart Pressure Cooker/Slow Cooker includes a removable and durable stainless steel cooking pot, heating plate for rice, rice scooper and measuring cup. The outer body is stainless-steel with cool touch handles. The gasket sealed lid is self-locking.
I love the large, easy-to-read dual digital LCD display. It features 12 Pre-sets: Steam, Rice, Multigrain, Porridge, Saute, Soup, Meat/Stew, Bean/Chili, Poultry, Yogurt, Egg Maker and Slow Cook. There are also options for keeping contents warm and delaying cooking for up to 24 hours.
I have found the extra large cooking capacity of the 14 quart model especially handy for cooking large batches of things that can be canned or frozen for future use.
I had a blast trying out recipe after recipe in this pressure cooker! I love that you can saute and cook all in one dish...saves time and energy when clean up time comes around!

I continue to be amazed by this all-in-one pressure cooker and can't wait to keep experimenting with it! It has so many uses and really speeds up the cooking process of pretty much anything. It will definitely come in handy for the upcoming baseball season when our time at home is super limited. Any product that gives me more time with my family is a winner in my book!
