*DISCLOSURE* Thank you to Nomad for providing product samples in order to facilitate this post. All thoughts are strictly my own.
Nomad is much more than a brand name. Their philosophy as a company and as team: owning fewer things, being resourceful and seeking adventure. It is the very core of their product vision: creating minimalist, practical tools that keep us powered up when on the go.
We recently got to try out the Universal Cable:
Universal Cable
$29.95
The one cable to rule them all, Universal cable comes with integrated multi-tip charging options to charge any mobile device. The core cable is USB A to Micro USB. Attached are two tips, an MFi approved Lightning tip and a USB Type C tip enabling you to charge all iPhone, Android and other USB powered devices.
We've tried several cables in B's truck and they wear out super fast. We've been looking for something heavy duty and the Universal Cable from NOMAD is designed to stand up to wear and tear.
The Universal Cable is wrapped in a 500D Nylon woven in a ballistic weave pattern. This material was originally developed to protect military forces from shrapnel and bullets. These military-strength cables are lab tested to withstand over 10,000 flexions.
Let's break down the layers of this super strong cable:
01 | 20 AWG for Fast Charging
02 | 4X Polyamide Central Core
03 | 2X RF Shield for Fast Sync
04 | 2X Thick Moisture Barrier
05 | Braided Ballistic Nylon
We couldn't be happier with our Universal Cable from NOMAD. If you are looking for the perfect Father's Day gift that can stand up to serious wear and tear, check out NOMAD's awesome line of products!
