It's time to start getting ready for holiday entertaining. We love being prepared for our guests by having lots of different sauces and condiments for every taste and every menu. High quality ingredients are a must when it comes to making impressive dishes to share with friends and family. Chef's Mandala has a fantastic line up of mustards and vinegars for all of your holiday cooking needs and they are so flavorful they are sure to wow your guests!
Since mustard is my all-time favorite condiment, let's start with this gorgeous collection from Chef's Mandala:
Smooth Dijon Mustard
We love using Dijon mustard in marinade, salad dressings (it is a MUST in our ranch dressing!) and on our sandwiches. We even drop a spoon or two into our cheese sauce for mac 'n cheese and oh, my my!
Coarse Dijon Mustard
This coarse ground mustard is also great as a sandwich or burger spread and in salad dressings with a little texture. It makes a wonderful rub for grilled meats as well!
Horseradish Mustard
This is my absolute favorite! It goes on all of my sandwiches and it makes a great addition to a dipping sauce for those holiday prime rib dinners! Mix it with some sour cream or plain Greek yogurt...MMMMMMMMM!
Molasses Mustard
Whoa! What a yummy flavor combo! Not as sweet as I expected, but super rich and flavorful. Truly a unique mustard and adds a depth of flavor to anything you put it on. Super delicious as a rub for grilled or roasted meats.
Now on to the awesomesauce selection of vinegars:
Raspberry Vinegar
A yummy drizzle of this vinegar over fruit or in a salad dressing really freshens up your plate!
Dark Balsamic Vinegar
Perfect for bruschetta or any other recipes with fresh tomatoes really! Lovely drizzled on pasta salad as well.
White Balsamic Vinegar
Super yummy on seafood and in salad dressings. A nice sour kick over fresh fruit like strawberries or raspberries.
Green Cucumber Vinegar
Amazing splashed on shellfish or in a light, refreshing oil and vinegar salad dressing.
Lime Vinegar
This vinegar is great for de-glazing seafood recipes or added to any Mexican, Central or South American dishes for some extra flavor! I splashed some in my last batch of sofrito and man, it was so good! Of course, like most other vinegars it's great in light salad dressings and sprinkled over fresh fruit.
