Do you want a garden but don't have a lot of space? Or maybe your thumb isn't so green? Check out Urban Leaf and their awesome line up of bottle gardening kits that are perfect for windowsill gardeners!
Even those with no gardening experience can grow and harvest their very own herbs and flowers with an Urban Leaf kit! Urban Leaf helps you turn your window sill into an easy-care edible garden.
We got to check out the Grow Your Own Exotic Basils Kit:
Each kit includes everything you'll need except the bottles and some water. You'll get three soil tubes that fit in standard bottles, 3 types of seeds, germination stickers, labels and a handy dandy instruction guide.
Set up takes about 60 seconds...just fill your bottles with water, insert the soil tubes, sprinkle on the seeds and top with a germination sticker. Pop in a windowsill and let the magic happen!
These kits sprout within a few days and will continue to grow for up to 6 months if cared for properly. Care is super easy too, just add water as needed and keep in a sunny spot.
Our kit included Thai, Purple and Lime Basil seeds and we can't wait to start harvesting!
Check out our babies:
Hopefully, within a few weeks, our garden will be as gorgeous as the one the Urban Leaf folks produced:
Gorgeous! If you have a gardener (of any skill level) on your gift list this holiday season, a kit from Urban Leaf would be an amazing and affordable gift idea! These kits are great gifts for teachers, hostesses, Secret Santas and for filling stockings as well. Give the gift of green windowsill gardening!
