*DISCLOSURE* Thank you to Foods Alive for providing product samples in order to facilitate this post.  All thoughts are strictly my own.

Spring is here and it is time to clean up our diets!  We are always looking for better-for-you snacks around here and we recently got to try out some really tasty treats from Foods Alive that we loved so much we wanted to tell y'all all about them!

Foods Alive offers numerous flavors of snack crackers, artisan salad dressings with flax, hemp, chia and sesame oils, artisan cold-pressed oils, an extensive line of superfoods, lip balm, and glass straws.  Check out what we've been snacking on:

Golden Berry

Known as Incan Berries, Aztec Berries, Cape Gooseberries or ground cherries in different parts of the world, these tangy berries are a favorite among both children and adults. Though originally from Peru, Physalis peruviana grows in many parts of the world today, from South Africa to the United Kingdom to New Zealand. Golden berries are sweet and tart, which make it a popular ingredient in cookies, desserts, and other baked goods, as well as salad, yogurt, cereal, and trail mix.

We love growing ground cherries in our garden and these dried berries are a great way to preserve the harvest to enjoy all year round.  If you have never had a ground cherry, you are missing out!

Tart Cherries

Not only are these organic dried tart cherries bursting with an irresistible deep, rich flavor, they are also high in antioxidants. They have a unique flavor that combines the elements of sour and sweet.

Nutrient-dense and mineral-rich, they are great mixed into a bowl of yogurt or oatmeal, or just to snack on!

Globe Trekker Hit the Trail Mix

Globe Trekker Trail Mix is packed with essential proteins, good fats, and dietary fiber to keep you going strong! This trail mix includes Jungle Peanuts from Ecuador, White Mulberries from Turkey, Cacao Nibs from Peru, and Goji Berries from the Ningxia province of Northern China.

Globe Trekker Trail Mix is perfect for on the go snacking, of course, but it's also a fun movie night treat!

Maca Powder

Although unrelated to ginseng, organic maca is often referred to as Peruvian ginseng because of its similar properties. To Andean Incas, organic maca, a sweet and somewhat nutty-tasting dried root, is considered a delicacy.

Organic maca boiled in water makes a drink sweeter than cocoa and it's pretty darn tasty!  It's also great in smoothies and oatmeal for an added nutrient boost.

Flax Snack Crackers

Foods Alive offers up great whole flax snack crackers that are tasty, healthy and crunchy and come in a great variety of flavors to treat anyone's taste buds! They are sturdy and great with cheese, hummus, peanut butter, or dips, toppings, and your favorite spread.

Not only do they taste great, but these crackers are also high in fiber, contain Omegas 3, 6, and 9, along with protein and valuable vitamins and minerals. These gluten free crackers are nutritious, healthy, versatile and satisfying! They are an excellent choice if you're low-carb or keto and looking for something filling. Also great for school lunches or after-workout snacks.

Made in the USA, Foods Alive uses low temperatures to dehydrate and preserve the vital living enzymes and essential nutrients.  More flavor, more nutrients...it's a win-win!

Power Snackers

Power Snackers are a mix of nutrient-rich almonds, walnuts, flax, sesame, chia, and sunflower seeds, and reishi mushrooms blended with blissful nutrient dense ingredients like cacao powder, cacao nibs, vanilla, maca, lucuma, coconut, and lemon. With superior taste, texture, and clean plant-based organic ingredients, everyone will love our new vegan power crackers. Since these power crackers contain fiber and protein, they are the perfect snack to give your body the power it's looking for.

Foods Alive makes delicious, better-for-you snacking easy this spring with super flavorful, super healthy treats that the whole family is sure to love!
